JUST BELOW is a list of what people order from Amazon.com with regards to UC.
Where did this list come from?
It’s actually pretty simple. When some of you who share stories on the site mention products/supplements or other things that others might like, I often link to them with the iHaveUC Amazon link. A small percentage of those sales gets credited to the iHaveUC account, and that’s pretty much it.
But, it turns out there’s a report within the back-end which shows all the products that were ordered in the past 12 months. So in the past year these are THE MOST ORDERED ITEMS by users of this site. Enjoy, and if you are shopping for a UC’er, this should help alot:)
#1 – Breaking the Vicious Cycle (a book)
#2 -Renew Life Ultimate Flora Critical Care (Probiotic)
(You’d think Bev worked for this company by how much she raves about these pills:)
#3 – Lovely Larch Tea (Supplement)
(Pat’s remission story mentioned this and ultra popular its been ever since)
#4 – NOW Foods (Probiotic)
(Not sure exactly how but this one’s real popular too)
#5 – Natures Way Slippery Elm Bark (Supplement)
(long been a favorite supplement for UC’ers, all started January 5, 2011 from this story)
#6 – Euro Cuisine YM Yogurt Maker (um…it’s a Yogurt Maker)
(Making home made yogurt is a big part for many following the SCD diet)
#7 – VSL #3 Capsules (Probiotic)
(Another ultra popular probiotic for UC’ers year in and year out)
#8 – Cooking for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (book)
(Of course I think my own cook book is awesome, but this one also must be good)
#9 – Boswellia Tablets (Supplement)
(Another alternative way of helping UC symptoms that’s a regular for many- just read some of the stories)
#10 – Yogourmet freeze dried yogurt starter (for yogurt)
So there they are, the 10 MOST Ordered Products by UC’ers from what’s available on the Amazon site.
If this information is useful to you, please let me know and I’ll make sure to post this info again next year if not sooner.
If you happen to be struggling with finding some ideas with regards to presents for a special someone who has UC, I’m hoping this helps you out as well.
And, if you are one of those who religiously uses the Amazon links throughout the site to order your Amazon products with the side goal of helping support the iHaveUC site, I am very grateful and thank you very much for your support.

So I like UC’ers. That’s been going on since 2009 I’d say.
I started site and the eNewsletter(you can join that below) shortly after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in October of 2008 with severe pancolitis (when my whole colon was inflamed).
For me, it was a very rough start with severe symptoms. Getting bounced from medication to medication was not easy or too helpful. But, I did meet another UC’er, changes several parts of my diet, and of course the rest is history.
Leave a comment, ask a question, take advantage of our past experiences here, use the search boxes, they are your friends to0:)
