All of the posts from “Annonymous UC” are from ulcerative colitis people who anonymously submitted stories or Doctor Reviews, medication, supplement reviews etc… I post all these stories to the site, but they’re different from my own personal stories so hopefully this account makes more sense:) -Adam – founder of iHaveUC.com

I have been seeing Dr. Buch since Jan of 2014.
I switched to him because I didn't find my other doctor knowledgable about UC.
Dr. BUCH has been very open and honest about UC. The first thing he handed me when I went for an office visit was a book on diet and UC.
He gave me Lialda which im still on 4 X1 and Canasa 1 per night.
2 weeks ago I had my very first omg UC flare or I should say scare. Dr. Buch saw me almost right away.
He did an exam asked me why I was stressed and gave me two medicines to try.. I was in denial of taking prednisone but I saw Dr. BUCH the next week and was feeling better and than wham the pain game back x 2. So I am now taking 60 mg of prednisone per day. Pain almost gone. Comes back a little at night. I learned that I have a doctor I should listen to and he said follow a strick UC diet.
I have missed the last 2 weeks of work and started collecting disability.
I know know listen to your doctor he's been doing it for a long time and he genuinely seems concerned.
Dr. Buch is very mild mannered, sometimes I wish he was more straight forward, he's super professional, he even said if I wanted a second opinion he would recommended another doctor. He returns calls even on the weekends. The office staff is great. He mostly has UC patients like myself, I know the office works with insurance. I don't know in what capacity, I do know that my Blue shield PPO is coved but I did have a co-pay for my colonoscopy.
