Dr. Joe Bailey has been a wonderful doctor through the years, and at
one time practiced at the famous Ochsners Foundation Hospital in
New Orleans, LA. He does both Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. His
procedure is one of the easiest I have ever done. The prep for the
two procedures is very easy, and you don't feel as washed out as
some have caused. He is a very sweet man, but he seems since he has
aged to not spend as much time with the patient as he used to. I had
to write him a letter to explain about the medications and side-effects
that were harming me in order to get him to finally call me. I would
recommend doing this to anyone who needs a doctor to understand--
especially when he has so many patients as Dr. Bailey has. That is
probably the main cause of not getting back with me or others. He is
so loved and sought after. As most doctors today, though, it's only drugs that are offered for Ulcerative Colitis.
