Great listener, professional, awesome staff, Dr. Howard is friendly and takes time to talk through your symptoms. He saved my colon!! Office is clean. Hardly ever had to wait more than 15 minutes. The other doctor in the office is Dr Handy. He is just as good as Dr Howard if you need to see him.

Sadly, I have to give Dr. Howard a 1 Star and would give him a 0 if there were 0 stars. This review includes his office nurse as well. And having asked his front office staff to please give an urgent message DIRECTLY TO HIM as his nurse would not give him a message, his front office staff as well receives a poor review.

Let me begin by saying I am an RN myself and have been for over 14 years.

I had two procedures on March 6, 2014 that resulted in 2 biopsies being done and to date (4/29/14) I am still waiting for the results. I have called Dr. Howard's office multiple times asking for a return call, asking for results, leaving messages for his nurse (on her personal voicemail) and specifically leaving messages for Dr. Howard to call me. No call has ever been received. There were concerns on both procedures discussed with me and my husband and again, to date, no phone call, no letter nothing. Wait, yes, there have been several bills requesting payment, but nothing else. I have left messages for his nurse asking for the prescription that Dr. Howard wanted me to start taking (in MARCH) with my pharmacy information to be called in. April 29th, the prescription still has not been called in.

I would not recommend this physician and sadly I believe I am going to have to go through the medical board to even get the results of my biopsies. Imagine the worry and stress this has caused me and my family and continues to cause me and my family to this day.

I have my phone records to show the calls made TO his office and to show NO incoming calls FROM his office.

I have never experienced this kind of care from a physician nor have I ever worked with a physician that treated a patient like this. I am in the process of looking for a new gastroenterologist. My advice as a nurse and a patient: "Do your research well before choosing a physician."
