Dr. Tan is a very down to earth, honest, caring doctor with a great bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients, even calling me at 8pm one evening to check in with some test results. I am not sure of how many UC patients he cares for, but is willing to run tests and procedures to figure out exactly what is going on. He makes you feel comfortable as one can talking about such embarrassing bodily functions.
Every doctor in his group is highly regarded in the Northern VA/ DC area. His office staff is super responsive and also very nice and kind to work with. They have an extensive website and four different office locations, but everything and everyone works together seamlessly. Their offices are all very professional, relaxing, well-decorated atmospheres. They seem to accept most major insurance plans.
