Like most of the stories I’ve read here, I’ve experienced them. I’ve had Ulcerative Colitis for 6 years now and have tried everything under the sun. To complicate things, I had my gall bladder removed 2 years ago. I hated not being able to leave my house. A living prisoner.
There is GOOD NEWS:
My Ulcerative Colitis is in check with Colazal. 3 pills/3 times a day, but was still having to go 10x / day. My PCP prescribed Cholestyramine for Oral suspension. 2 packets / day. After day 2 of taking this non-invasive tang tasting stuff, I’ve NOT had any issues and LIVE A NORMAL LIFE for the last 6 months. This medicine was originally created to help people with high cholesterol, but proved to be not very effective. It does however bind everything up. My hope here is, that it can help other people here.
