Dr. Ronen Arai – Gastroenterologist – Coral Springs, FL

My experience with Dr. Arai was totally different. He might be knowledgeable but he is quick to write a prescription and send you on your way. As far as getting in touch with him you it would be best if you just went to the emergency room like I had to do. Left message on voice mail for medical assistant never got a return phone call. Place is like a factory. The staff was nice but I will not be going back. You probably had a good experience because you were pregnant.

While going through a hard time battling UC while being pregnant and my usual GI being an hours drive away, I welcomed a recommendation to see Dr. Arai as he was closer to my new home. Being 6 months pregnant and suffering from a UC flare at the moment, he admitted that most doctors would have turned me away. But he didnt. We actually dove right in to finding a safe treatment. We went through many different treatments, medications, and attempts at calming down my symptoms. He never gave up and never scooted me off to a different doctor for being pregnant. I saw him right through up to the delivery and continue to do so now.



He is incredibly kind, friendly, and actually LISTENS. Other doctors I have seen just slap a prescription in your hand and walk away. Dr Arai makes careful note of each and every symptom and compares that to your current state at every visit. He remembers what worked and what didnt work and how things affect you personally. His patients are not just charts to him but actual people with debilitating diseases. He is very knowledgeable and always has the last medical news to support his responses. He is very well versed in the latest practices for UC and other digestive ailments. He has always provided me with information to make me feel safe about medications we were trying and has always been ready with the next course of action if I did not respond to the current treatment. He sits on boards and committees to stay in-the-know of current medical updates and is constantly informing me of the latest things going on in the digestive medicine community. This is totally not an exag geration. I look forward to my appointments with him not only because of his welcoming and warm demeanor but because I know he will do everything he can to make me well again.



As far as the office staff, they are also very friendly and helpful. Calls are returned within a reasonable amount of time and questions are answered as soon as they can. Appointments are readily available and easy to make. Nurses are caring and personable.
