Dr. Winter is excellent! She called us on Christmas Eve to give us some news about my son's condition and had appointments set up for us quickly when he needed care urgently. In addition to being at the forefront on IBD medically, she asked my son about his diet - did he try SCD, paleo, plant based, what supplements, and what else was doing to manage his UC. The Crohns and Colitis Center at the Brigham and Womens Hospital has a multi-therapy team approach with doctors, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, health coaches and social workers to help with diet, stress and other issues - all on site. Colonoscopies and endoscopies done on site, along with labs and same day results. Highly recommend this group.
