This guy is awesome. He is open minded and, for me, interested in fecal transplant. He had a few patients who did it on their own with amazing results, so he suggested it to my wife. We procrastinated for more than a year but when we finally did it, it cured her. So, I love this guy and I need to figure out how to nominate him for GI of the year! I dedicated a Facebook page to the procedure called Fecal Bacteriotherapy is “The Bomb”. There is a ton of information there. Go do some research. It really can cure UC.

I have been having problems for 6 years now and I need help. Nothing has worked. I’m thinking about fecal transplant. Help!!
I highly recommend seeing Dr. Swaroop! I have tried many other doctors in the DFW area and none can compare to this guy. He is a professor and is on the leading edge of gastrointestinal diseases. I visited him in June because I heard he was consulting on FMT’s (fecal matter transplants) he could not give doctor oversight or specific recommendations on this procedure because the government has put a hold on it. But he has seen tremendous success with this treatment. He has lots of wisdom and non conventional treatment recommendations. IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS ULCERATIVE COLITIS you NEED to see this DOCTOR now. The wait time is about 2 months but well worth it.

Is this info still current? I’d like to know specifically what he helped you with. Is he still consulting on FMT’s? Thanks!
I don’t believe FMT is approved for colitis yet….so he CANNOT oversee your FMT. I still recommend seeing him because he has a lot of unconventional wisdom that he could share with you. I chose to follow Thepowerofpoop.com (DIY) …I am happy to report I am in TOTAL remission after trying EVERY drug. The process took me and my donor about 9 months total. Feel free to ask any questions!!! SOOOO glad I didn’t have surgery

Thank you for your reply Miguel. I am so glad to hear that you are doing great! Was curious about what “unconventional wisdom” he consults on (is it diet? supplements, etc…). I have done a lot of “unconventional” treatments so just trying to decide if he would offer something different. Thanks!
Some supplements for me (Alpha Lopaic Acide, Curcumin, and lots of it)
Everyones case is different so I couldn’t tell you what he would advise you specifically. I had Severe colitis and he is one of the leading doctors in the nation. I also live in the DFW metroplex so it wasn’t a stretch to get an appt.
Are you still with dr Swaroop.
m trying to get dr Swaroop appointment.
Anyone knowd his clinic number as I
Have bern told he is not working here anymore
He sadly left dallas. He is now out of Kansas.
So glad to receive this recommendation!! I’m originally from Dallas, and live about 30 minutes from Dr Swaroop’s practice in Hutchinson KS. I have an appt tomorrow. I’m very relieved with this info. Thanks for sharing!
I just found out Dr. Swaroop left the Hutchinson Clinic Does anyone know where he went to practice now? He’s the best Dr. EVER!!
