All of the posts from “Annonymous UC” are from ulcerative colitis people who anonymously submitted stories or Doctor Reviews, medication, supplement reviews etc… I post all these stories to the site, but they’re different from my own personal stories so hopefully this account makes more sense:) -Adam – founder of iHaveUC.com

Very knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and has a lot of patience. We are glad to have him here in Cookeville, TN.
Dr. Anbari and his nurse Stephanie are wonderful! When I first began experiencing symptoms 6+ years ago, I didn't have health insurance. Dr. Anbari knew it was serious, and he worked with me in every possible way to, not only treat me, but to ensure I was able to receive all of the tests, procedures, hospital stays, etc. that were necessary. They'd even call to check on me at home!
Due to my health, I am now disabled and have insurance. Dr. Anbari is still just as great. His nurse Stephanie is the sweetest. If I'm sick or having a flare, all I have to do is call, and she'll usually return my call the same to schedule an appt.
Dr. Anbari is very easy to talk to and has a friendly disposition. He begins every appt. by asking how I am and what's been going on. During the appt. he will listen to me, ask questions, and then thoroughly explain or discuss why/what's going on, what's going to happen, what the plan of treatment is, etc. He ends every appt. by asking if I have any questions and shaking my hand and smiling. (He's super friendly and a bit of a jokester.)
He is also very thorough. He orders blood work and stool stamples at almost every appt. He's performed approx. 7 colonoscopies w/biopsies, 3 EGDs w/biopsies, and ordered multiple CT scans, ultrasounds, HIDA scans etc. He even referred me to another doctor for my gallbladder removal. Another thing I appreciate is the fact he communicates everything he's doing with my Primary Care Physician and vice versa.
In reference to labs and tests, when my results are back the doctor himself has called with results as late as 8:30 pm.
The office staff is easy to work with as well. Kim is the person that schedules the doctors' surgeries and procedures. She is very personable, and she always does her best to get me in the O.R. as soon as possible.
