Dr. James Betzhold – Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Albany, NY

He is a but intimidating at first, but once you meet with him a few times, you can really see his personality shine through. The doctor is a good listener, and if he cant seem to come up with an answer, will find someone who can. He strongly believes that your diet doesn’t change anything, which i don’t seem to agree with. His office staff is friendly and their phlebotomists make you very comfortable if blood work is needed. The office excepts all if not most insurance plans, and is very easy to update. The entire hospital is run through a computer network, so you don’t have to worry about losing papers. The only thing that i dislike about AMC is that the notices for the endoscopy and colonoscopy are sent home the day before, but give you information that you should of been doing a week in advance, but that’s not the doctors fault. I would highly recommend him!
