I have been a patient since diagnosed with crohns in 1992. He is incredibly compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and collaborates with both patient and other health care providers. During an appointment, I have never once felt rushed. He has a very calming affect and spends the time explaining results and treatment options. After each colonoscopy he spends time with patient explaining any findings and always puts me at ease. I also appreciate that he returns phone calls promptly and will answer a message on the portal usually the same day. He is not an alarmist and a text message back usually quells my fears. His office staff is friendly and adept. They work with insurance to get meds coverage and that is usually no easy feat. They are diligent and always get the job done and done well. I hugely recommend Dr Abemayor if you have any type of IBD condition.
