A big change from my previous UC doctor!
Very approachable and easy to talk to, speaks very good English, and is very receptive to what the patient wants.
Despite not following the standard programme (Pentasa, Pred, 6-MP, Remicade, etc.), I can still discuss what I'm doing with him (diet, probiotics, etc.) and get a positive response.
Last time I saw him, he gave me a prescription for VSL#3 (though I had to pay for it myself), and he shared my interest in following a not-very-traditional route for treating UC.
In my situation (that is, thinking a lot about my treatment instead of just blindly following what doctors tell me), he is exactly the sort of doctor I'd like to have!
