Dr. Catalano is an older doctor but a well established doctor that seems to know a lot about UC. His bedside manner is a little blunt but he tells it like it is without sugar-coating anything. He does seem to listen to any concerns and tries to answer any questions and makes recommendations about the treatment plan. Response time to call back messages is not great...but with persistence he will call you back. His staff is great and insurance (Anthem) has not been a problem. Overall I am happy with his ability to treat and recommend medicines for future treatments.
