As a robotically methodical & fastidious guy, Dr. Kemler doesn't ever stray outside the mainstream to consider cutting edge new research or innovative alternative therapies for his patients. This may be due in part to his advanced age and the fact that his career is winding down. He seems to be perfectly willing to just run out the clock at this point in his life & that's understandable. But on a bright note, both he & his staff are great with scheduling, communicating test results & consulting outside their office. Often Dr. Kemler has personally called me (after office hours) to discuss test results & to recommend & suscribe new meds. I just hope whoever his successor is keeps up with the latest IBD research & adapts his or her practice accordingly.
