Dr. Anand Bala – Gastroenterologist – Edmonton, Alberta

He listens, is caring, observant. He gives you the information and let's you make a decision. He advises but doesn't tell you what to do. What I love is that even on his holidays, or day off, he calls into the office everyday to see if any patients called with any issues. He then advises on what that patient should do. The secretary is also really great. Super helpful and friendly. When I call and she says she'll call me back when she talks to Dr. Bala, she always calls back same day and usually within an hour or so. I'm never left waiting. She'll also do her best to squeeze me in if I need to see Dr. Bala.
