Dr. Mreyoud is very thorough and has a good understanding of the most current recommendations for the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease . He is treating my husband and daughter. I like that he starts with the simplest treatments and then gets a new colonoscopy to see if it's working. When that treatment isnt effective, he wastes no time in getting you enrolled in the next level of treatment so that you will have the best chance of achieving remission. He recognizes that steroids are not an effective long term treatment because of the many side effects. He understands that men over 40 are at higher risks of certain side effects than a 20 year old female who wishes to start a family in the next 5 years and he takes those things into account when developing a plan of treatment for each patient.
