Dr. Amarnath Ramakrishnan – Gastroenterologist – Issaquah, WA

Top notch - in the midst of a serious flare three years ago I was able to get in to see him on short notice. He listened carefully, was quick to diagnose, understand previous treatment, and prescribe remedy that worked nearly immediately. He was friendly, clear and knowledgeable about UC and other conditions, and followed up by calling me several days later. I've been back for followup checkups four times since, including a colonoscopy that was the easiest I've had. I've been flare-free now for three years. The clinic staff is great, and Swedish provides good online access to medical records. Insurance processing through Medicare and my private insurance has been a snap. I'll keep going to Dr Ramakrishnan even though it's a three-hour drive from my current residence.
