Dr. Alex Kuryan – Gastroenterologist – West Chester, PA

Began seeing Doctor Kuryan in June 2012. He was the second doctor I went to for my "diarrhea" that I lived with for the past 6 years. First doc said to just take immodium after colonoscopy showed collegenous colitis. Spring of 2012 The "diarrhea" and pains and disruption of my life got too much. Made a G.I. appt. Got to see Doctor Kuryan. He listens, is empathtic and most importantly said I didn't have to suffer with this. There is medication. We are conservatively working on medications that will be the most hepful. I enjoy my time with him. I never feel rushed or that he doesn't care about me. He recommended a Chrons and colitis support group at a local hospital that has been running for 22 yrs! He will also give talks there.

I had a lot of bad reactions to the first few medications. I ALWAYS heard back from one of the nurses or the Doctor within the hour!

So far so good. Doctor Kuryan gives me a lot of hope. I am very thankful to him and the other support that comes out of his office.
