My Devastating Breakup with Coffee

It’s easy to get comfortable in remission, and it’s easy to rationalize consuming things that you love that may not be the best for you. I hope this healing continues and that I’ve solved my problem – coffee definitely irritates my sensitive gut.

Remission periods can be very long, or sometimes very short || We, the UC patients know our bodies real well, and we need to hold ourselves responsible to monitor how we are doing over time

Can I Be Normal?

In the beginning the blood was the scariest thing. I had cramping, too regular BM and total exhaustion, but this fresh blood leaving my body every time I sat on the toilet really got to me.
