I have ulcerative colitis.
I was on the SCD Diet from age 20 to 29 and it worked great for about five years. I had occasional flare ups that I would fix by eliminating most allowed foods. My last flare could not fix my flare up and lead me to use medications for the first time. Now certain foods such as fruit and other allowed foods on the SCD have an effect on me. I’ve learned that the diet only helped for sometimes. I may never return to the diet as now I feel fine and eat what I feel symptom free as of now.

All of the posts from “Annonymous UC” are from ulcerative colitis people who anonymously submitted stories or Doctor Reviews, medication, supplement reviews etc… I post all these stories to the site, but they’re different from my own personal stories so hopefully this account makes more sense:) -Adam – founder of iHaveUC.com
