INTRODUCTION:
I’m Ashley, I’ve had ulcerative colitis since I was probably 10. Or at least that’s as far back as I can remember the symptoms. I’ve been diagnosed for about 5 years.
So I’ve been in remission for 2 years. Hooray I know right! Well it was all great until I got a sinus infection and my Dr. (a new Dr.) prescribed me Keflex…. whatever you do don’t take it! I took it for 3 days and it threw me out of remission. I was almost forgetting how bad having UC felt. After doing my own research on this medicine I found out that different websites say not to take it if you have stomach problems or colitis. What a great doctor!…
