Comments:

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dassopoulos. (Yes, his last name is difficult to pronounce. He calls himself “Dr. D”) He has a wonderful personality and bedside manner. He and his office staff listen to everything you have to say and are very helpful. Dr. D encourages his patients to keep in close contact with him, especially if they are having any IBD issues/flares whatsoever. He even gave me his email address and has called me after-hours on several occasions when I was having a bad flare-up of my Crohn’s Disease. He has studied at Brown University, Harvard Medical School and the University of Chicago before becoming an Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and the Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Program at Washington University School of Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis (which was ranked #11 best hospital in the US in 2011). Dr. D truly is a wonderful doctor. I recommend him to every IBD patient I encounter.
