I’ve had UC for many years and have moved a lot. I would say that I’ve seen at least 6 GI docs and I have never met a doctor (GI or otherwise!) that I like as much as Dr. Marek. He has a comforting bedside manner, has explained things I have never understood before, and has me feeling as good as before I was diagnosed. His office is efficient and he’s usually pretty close to being right on time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Marek to anyone with UC!

    I was told by Dr. Marek’s office that the colonoscopy would be covered in-full by my insurance. Now I’m stuck with a $2,399.00 bill. I addressed this immediately upon receiving the bill, and haven’t heard a thing until six months later with another $2,399.00 bill.

      Mr. Walford,
      I am sorry that you seem to be confused about your bill. You have a zero balance with our office and actually never paid us a penny for your procedure this year. Unfortunately for HIPPA reasons I cannot go into further details online, but any bill you have for $2399 is not from my office. I apologize for any confusion but hopefully that’s good news! Thanks!

      I spoke with my office manager and neither of us are aware of any iPads left in the office this month. I will ask the other staff tomorrow. I am so sorry that you lost your iPad!! I hope you find it soon.
