Great support system from this medical group at UCI Medical Center; from social workers, nurse coordinator, support group meetings, information handouts from the doctor herself. She was referred by my original GI doctor as my case was getting complicated, at which my dr said she is the leading authority for colitis in Orange County, CA. Dr. Parekh is very personable & I feel she listens well & is empathetic to my needs.
She has moved fast and has additional testing performed, and had already started me on a different course of medication, Remicade, all within 2 1/2 weeks! I feel she and the her associate Dr. Chau are very capabke & on the cutting edge of UC which makes me very comfortable in their care.
