Really nice guy, seems to be passionate about what he does. He’s a good listener, and willing to work with you on finding the right medication to get you feeling better. His secretary, Colleen, is also very nice. She remembers me by first name, and is really helpful with getting refills of meds taken care of. I currently use United Healthcare and Express Scripts, and Dr. Barr seems to work well with both. Also, he can do procedures at both major area hospitals, so finding a convenient location for your scopes is easier. All in all, I would recommend Dr. Barr to anyone looking for a GI doc in the greater Grand Rapids, MI area.
