I have been in Mooresville, North Carolina for 3 months now with my husband while he is working & became very sick, with a Colon flare, so I thought…? I was told by my GI doctor back home in Illinois to follow up with a Doctor here, which I did. She (Melissa-PAC @ Trinity HealthCare) rans some tests, which showed blood n my stool, & I was running very anemic… which lead her to refer me to Dr. Moore. I loved him! Although I won’t be able to keep him as my permanent GI Doc, he was awesome! He took his time, and actually listened to me. He has now referred me to a Rheumatologist cause he thinks that some of my problems may NOT be from my UC/auto-immune pain… He also suggested doing an Antibody test (which I had done;waiting on results now) which will HELP determine between UC or Crohn’sfor sure…? which in 4 years my GI Doc at home had never brought up to me before. The joint pain & just all over pain has never been s o severe as this time. He got me right in also, knowing that I didn’t have a GI Doc here in the area & how miserable I was. He started me on a low dose of Prednisone for now for some relief & I am going to follow up with him after the Rheumy visit. Even though I saw him just once so far, I would recommend him highly to anyone!Office staff was also awesome! I wish my GI Doc at home could be as caring & concerned as him. This has taught me that when I do get back home, I am going to find someone else! I like my GI at home, but I have had nothing but flares off & on for 4 years! He just can’t seem to get me better for long… So if you’re ever in the Charlotte area & need a GI Doc… Dr. Moore is the guy!
