I’ve never met a more caring doctor in my entire life. I was by chance recommended to him and I am so very thankful. He immediately did everything in his power to make me better from the first instance he saw me. He came in at 7am to do my colonoscopy and endoscopy, which happened to be an hour before his typical work day started. If anyone is in the Chicagoland area, he definitely has my recommendation. I had been sick for approximately 7 weeks before getting any treatment due to not having insurance, then going to the wrong type of dr, then having to wait for the dr appointment to come. Dr. Medina prescribed a regimine of prednisone and antibiotics after my scopy’s and then apriso along with a probitoic. I was still going (down from 30+ a day) about 6 times or so.. So he put me on lialda and that is what I’m on today. I’m going between 1 and 3 times now. Dr. Medina called me after the procedures and just to check up on m e and make sure I’m doing well. He’s absolutely wonderful doctor.
