Lichtenstein is one of the top UC doctors in the world. He is very knowledgeable as he spends a lot of time doing research. I only met with him once, but he spent nearly an hour with me and typed up a detailed health report and made several suggestions for follow up tests. I feel confident that he is a great doctor to give you a second opinion, but might not be a good primary GI, since it takes about 4 months to get an appointment with him.
