Comments About Dr. Schaus:
Dr. Schaus is a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor. Right after my first colonoscopy, he explained the procedure he performed and showed me pictures of my diseased colon. He informed me that I had universal (entire colon) ulcerative colitis. I see him every six months for follow up check ups. Whenever I go for these check ups, he always spends a lot of time with me and answers any questions I may have. A couple of times, when I needed some immediate answers, he phoned me and made sure all my concerns were fulfilled. He also instructs me to have blood work performed after each visit to make sure there aren’t any signs of kidney failure, etc. (due to taking the UC medication). I would highly recommend Dr. Schaus to anyone who lives in the Western New York area.
