Dr. Cherabaty is great! She heads up Georgetown University Hospital's Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and specializes in UC and Crohn's. Since this is a teaching hospital, she often works in conjunction with students and other doctors with less experience, but I find her to be a very good listener and she picks up on things that I would not have even thought of. An example, I have gastric cancer in my family and she recommended I have genetic counseling; something that would never have occurred to me.
I find all the doctors, including Dr. Cherabaty, extremely nice to work with. If I had any complaints: some (some!!) of the staff (not the nurses) seem a little disinterested; parking at the hospital is a pain; I just use the valet to park, which is a nice option; it's a busy hospital, so you do have to wait sometimes to see the doctor. But I find her worth it...I had seen three different GI docs before seeing her.
