I was diagnosed with UC 2 years ago. I had gotten sick and was given antibiotics and then started having stomach problems. After a colonoscopy, they said it was ulcerative colitis. I went on Lialida and Prednisone and soon was back to normal. Then this march I switch jobs (stressful) and started a flare.
