Please Help Me Out Here
I have been applying to this particular company for over a year. I really want to work there. So I was thrilled when I finally got a call back for a phone interview & it’s on Tuesday. My question is: what’s the best way to approach the subject of my UC? I was thinking it might be better to broach this subject during a face-to-face interview. But I have to bring it up since I go for Remicade every 8 weeks.
I know I can do the job. That’s not an issue. But I don’t want my potential employer to feel like I shouldn’t be hired because of my UC. I’m just really not sure what is the best way for me to handle this. Any suggestions??

I was Just diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis(Summer 2011). I’ve had UC for three years. I’ve got a great job, great family support, and a man who adores me. I’ve also got two cats, whom I absolutely love and cherish.
